The disposable latex gloves are produced with natural latex from rubber trees and boast increased resistance to punctures and tears. The vinyl gloves are made with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) granules, one of the most consumed plastics, and plasticisers (mostly phthalates). In its pure formulation PVC is rigid, while when mixed with phthalates it becomes flexible and mouldable. The disposable nitrile gloves are created as an alternative to latex gloves, for use by those who are allergic to latex, and to reduce sensitisation to latex proteins. The satin-finished gloves allow an easy fit and are reusable.
